About GidNou

A guide for Haitians, wherever life takes them.

Looking at a map in a new city

It starts with a feeling we all know.

You move to a new city. Maybe even a new country. You unpack your bags, but you don't feel at home yet.

You need a doctor who understands you. You're looking for a lawyer who speaks your language. Or sometimes, you just crave the taste of Griot and the sound of Kompa to feel grounded again.

But where do you look?

For too long, we've relied on scattered WhatsApp groups and word-of-mouth whispers. We believed that finding our community shouldn't be this hard.

"Gid Nou" means Guide Us.

It’s a request. A need. An intention.
We built GidNou to bridge the gap between where you are and where you belong. We wanted to create the digital infrastructure for the Haitian Diaspora—a place where our businesses are visible, our institutions are accessible, and our stories are told.

Our Mission

"GidNou exists to guide Haitians through life abroad by connecting them to trusted businesses, essential institutions, and community resources."
